Tishika Townsend established a career in the healthcare administration field. Her roles required skills that encompassed educating, consulting, organizing, and planning, while delivering quality service. She transferred those skills to her love for event planning.

With a passion for creating memorable experiences and a keen eye for detail, she has helped clients bring their visions to life for a variety of events, from corporate, birthday celebrations, wine tours and everything in between. After years of coordinating various functions, Pour Decision Makers was born in August 2022. Tishika states that “after receiving a number of referrals and requests to plan events, I decided that it’s time to live in my purpose and passion.” She prides herself in pouring her heart and smile into your event and has worked with a diverse number of clients, that range in size and age. Also, she is committed to delivering exceptional service and customized solutions that meet each client’s unique needs and goals.

Tishika earned her degree in Health Planning & Administration at the University of Illinois @Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Public Administration degree from Roosevelt University in Chicago. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling and mentoring youth in the Chicagoland area. She also commits to community service activities on a routine basis. Tishika is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
